For an outing with a difference, jump on a ferry to Manly and discover the underwater delights of Oceanworld!
An array of marine life inhabits the 5 million litre Oceanarium, from cuttlefish, coral and seahorses to huge sharks, giant stingrays and turtles, along with a variety of reptiles, snakes and spiders and a handful of experienced divers and aquarists to answer your queries on creatures of the deep.
Oceanworld Manly fosters a fun learning environment for kids and adults with reptile and dangerous animal shows, daily tours, movies, fish feeding, touch pool presentations, snorkeling classes and educational talks. Family sleepovers are also offered, presenting an exciting way to experience Oceanworld’s myriad of marine creatures with a unique camping-style adventure. The night includes an interactive torch-lit tour of the oceanarium, fish feeding, a Dangerous Australian Animals show, dinner, supper and breakfast, and kids can camp out among the tanks or even in the shark tunnel.
For those a little more daring, Oceanworld’s Shark Dive Xtreme program allows all levels of divers to get up close and personal with sharks, stingrays and a vast array of marine life. Three levels of dive programs are available, from the introductory dive which includes a training pool session to a Certified Program which includes a shark awareness brief to a Scuba Tune Up for qualified divers.
Oceanworld Manly is located on the water at Manly Cove, 200m from Manly Ferry Wharf, and is accessible by ferry or jetcat from Circular Quay. We're open 10am – 5:30pm every day of the year except 25th December.
